Kbiotech Bio-Book Compact is a new line of latest generation Bioreactors that allow for the growth and cultivation of cells, microorganisms, and other biological systems in controlled conditions. They are designed to be small and portable, making them ideal for laboratory research, development but also for advanced bioprocessing and small-scale GMP production.

Compact bioreactors vessel are available in a variety of sizes and capacities. The smallest models can hold a few as 50 milliliters of culture medium, while the largest models can hold up to 20 or 30 litres, You can interchange different types of autoclavable Glass and Stainless Steel vessels but also Disposable vessels (click here for more informations). Compact bioreactors are typically equipped with a mechanical agitation system or magnetic stirring system on request with a choice of rushton, pitched, marine blade impellers for up or down flow as well as customizable impellers. The Compact control system is equipped with an accurate liquid dosing system for nutrients and additives with variable speed stepper pumps and gas mixing with Massflow meters or Rotameters with selectable flow rate based on your application. The Compact control unit is equipped with standard measurements and controls such as Temperature, PH, dissolved oxygen, foam & level but also already provides additional channels for the interface of auxiliary sensors such as for the measurement of Biomass Turbidity, Capacitance, O2/CO2/CH4/Methane gas analyzers, dissolved CO2 and other online devices such as Glucose.

Compact benchtop bioreactors are available in Single and Twin versions with two vessel for parallel and simultaneous operations to increase throughput, improve reproducibility and reduce costs.

KBiotech Bioflex SCADA Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition software, is used to monitor and control your bioprocesses. Bioflex SCADA software typically runs on a computer and communicates with the Compact controllers as remote terminal unit over a network. In fact, through the Bioflex Software you can remotely monitor and control single or parallel bioreactors units with protected access wherever you are. Bioflex Scada provides a number of features including; Data Acquisition, Real time monitoring, Process control, Alarm management, Historical data logging, Data batch record and export Bioflex SCADA software is an essential tool as it allows operators to monitor and control simple and complex processes efficiently and effectively to facilitate and speed up process development and scale up from the research and optimization phase to pilot production and industrial manufacturing.

KBiotech new glass vessel design feature autoclavable borosilicate jacketed or single glass body with dished or round bottom, stainless steel head plates compatibility with all existing probes, dip tubes, spargers and impellers. The dishwasher-proof stirrer shaft and glass vessel fixation make it easy to clean, and a special version with a bottom drain is available for perfusion applications.
